Lale’s Camp

Lale’s Camp on the eastern banks of the Omo River has recently been refurbished. It’s operated by Wild Expeditions and offers comfortable tented accommodation in two-man tents with simple camp beds and verandas. Only accessible by boat, the Omo Delta is an extremely remote area of islands and marshes. This camp is surrounded by some of the continent’s wildest nature.

The canvas camp includes a mess tent and a maximum of seven sleeping tents. The accommodation is simple, but comfortable, with sturdy walls and floors. Each tent has a veranda and en-suite facilities with hot water and flushing toilets. Natural wood and woven rugs add a warm touch to the tents, along with bold earthy colours and luxurious fabrics.

Meals are hearty and include cooked breakfasts, picnics and three-course dinners.
