When to visit

The Central Asia region has a climate as diverse as its geography. Whether you’re looking to trek through snow-capped mountains, explore cities along the Silk Roads or discover nomadic life on the steppes – there are ideal seasons for each region. April–May and September–October the weather is mild and comfortable across Central Asia and the Caucasus. Mongolia’s summertime, between mid-June and late August is most conducive to exploring and enjoying festivities.
