Luxury Peru Vacations & Tours made for you
Start planningDiscover the beauty of Peru on an expertly built tour designed bespoke for you
Breathtaking scenery, ancient cultures and world-renowned gastronomy
Peru is a land where the echoes of ancient empires resonate through sky-piercing peaks. The mighty Amazon snakes through lush jungle and history and present day sit side-by-side in dynamic cities.
Embark on a luxury peru tour across breathtaking landscapes and learn about cultural heritage in the company of expert local guides whose passion for their country is contagious.
Peru’s pre-Columbian cultures have left an enduring legacy on the land. A private tour of the awe-inspiring citadel of Machu Picchu is a must-do, while the scenic cities of Arequipa and Cusco are home to fascinating relics of the Incan empire, whose advanced civilisation has captured imaginations the world over. Even today, the mystifying Nazca lines scrawled across the desert remain a source of debate to archaeologists.
On a bespoke private Peru tour with Jacada, you’ll delve deeper, exploring lesser trodden paths with a private local guide. Embrace the profound silence of the vast Tinajani Canyon in the Peruvian Altiplano, once said to be watched over by giants. You can spend your days here hiking remote and your evenings star gazing in the dark skies.
In the Peruvian Amazon, you’ll stay in secluded lodges such as Posada Amazonas or Tambopata Research Centre, both part of our Positive Impact collection. Spending time in the heart of this magnificent ecosystem is a great way to learn first-hand about the initatives in place to protect this fragile region.
We highly recommend exploring Peru’s renowned cuisine on your adventure. In Lima, visit Mercado Central with your guide, winding through the aisles sampling fruits and tasting fresh ceviche, washed down with a mixology masterclass where you’ll learn to make Peru’s national cocktail, the Pisco sour. Our travel designers will share their insights on the best gourmet restaurants, ‘hole-in-the-wall’ lunch spots and which traditional Andean dishes you should try.

When to visit Peru
While Peru can be a year round destination, it’s important to consider seasonality if you’re hoping to see Machu Picchu or enjoy some of the country’s incredible hiking. The best time to visit Machu Picchu is from May to September, when clear skies offer a high chance of dry days and spectacular views. If you want to hike the Inca Trail, bear in mind that it closes for the month of February due to the typical heavy rain that falls during this time. if you’re heading to the Peruvian Amazon, then the high water season between November and May is the best time for an Amazon cruise as it allows you to explore deeper into the jungle.
