I was born and grew up in Buenos Aires and explored a lot of Latin America with my family. Long road trips to Patagonia or to beautiful beaches in Brazil will always be in my memories. I moved to Europe and fell in love with this ancient continent, but Latin America will always be special to me; it’s the people, food and the diverse landscapes – you’re pretty much guaranteed to meet some incredible characters on a journey here. Strolling the colourful streets of Cartagena, trying local fruits, swimming in a cenote in Mexico, and walking on the granite peaks in El Chalten in Patagonia are some of my favourite memories and places I would go back to a million times.
My most memorable trip: Salta, Argentina
My trips to northwest Argentina have been truly special. My expectations were exceeded by the natural beauty of Jujuy and Salta. A truly off the beaten path destination for those who want to experience unique landscapes and fascinating culture.
On my bucket list: Pacific Coast, Mexico
I would love to travel to Mexico's Pacific Coast, it has been on my bucket list for a long time. I would love to see its small charming towns, try local food and explore the culture.
My favourite trip: Luxury South America Food and Wine
This trip is definetely your go to if you are a foodie looking to explore the best wonders of Latin America. You will be amazed by diverse cuisines in the most epic backdrops.
My favourite hotel: Nayara Tented Camp
This Costa Rican gem takes luxury to a whole new level. It combines the thrill of camping with the comforts of a high-end hotel, offering an unforgettable experience for guests. The perfect blend for those looking for confort and adventure.
My top tips
- To experience El Chalten without the crowds, start your treak early early in the morning to enjoy the unique mountain peaks in silence.
- In Argentina, try as many empanadas as you can and for dessert nothing beats a "panqueque with dulce de leche".
- When visiting Iguazu Falls, take a dry change of clothes, you will need them!
- When in Patagonia I recommend you bring layers of clothing - the weather is notoriously changeable.
