Luxury Argentina Tours made for you
Start planningImmerse yourself in the beauty and passion of Argentina on a private trip designed by our experts
Home to epic landscapes, an artistic capital, and incredible food and wine
Argentina is one of South America’s giants – both in terms of size and what it offers. The buzz of its capital, Buenos Aires, is contagious. Here you can visit an art studio in the morning, take a private street food tour over lunch, then spend the evening learning to tango at a traditional Milonga dance hall.
Further east, in Mendoza, you’ll taste world-class wines and stroll through vineyards while gazing out at the majestic peaks of the Andes. We also recommend a trip to an estancia during your stay. At these ranches you can experience traditional gaucho culture, ride horses through the surrounding countryside and enjoy an authentic asado barbecue.
There are plenty of opportunities to immerse yourself in natural beauty when visiting Argentina. In the north lie Salta’s red-rock canyons, the wildlife-rich wetlands of Ibera and the stark white Salinas Grandes salt flats. And on the border with Brazil sit the mighty Iguazu Falls, the largest waterfall system in the world. We’ll arrange a private tour that takes you through the surrounding subtropical forest and right up to the plunging cataracts.
To the south you’ll find the wild expanse of Patagonia. In this region, you can hike among the granite spires of the Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre mountains in El Chalten. Sail beside towering glaciers and watch icebergs split off and crash into the water in Los Glaciares National Park. And canoe along the Beagle Channel, passing windswept islands inhabited by seals and penguin colonies in Ushuaia.

When to visit Argentina
The best time for a luxury trip to Argentina depends on which part of the country you’re going to and what you want to do there. We recommend visiting Buenos Aires in spring (September to November) or autumn (March to May). The pleasant weather during these months is ideal for city exploration, and you can enjoy either the blossoming jacaranda flowers or golden autumn leaves. These seasons are also perfect for wine tasting in Mendoza. March is the best time to visit Iguazu Falls. Temperatures are comfortable and the water level is still high after the summer rains, so you can see them at their most impressive. Summer (December to February) offers fantastic conditions for hiking in Patagonia. Daylight hours are long, the weather is warm, and all the trails are open. Calm seas and abundant wildlife mean this is also the best time for cruises around Cape Horn.
