Itinerary in detail
Every trip is shaped around you. Below is a sample route to start from; we change any part of it to suit you.
Days 1-3
Two nights in Buenos Aires
Spend your time relaxing and exploring the wonderful city of Buenos Aires. Discover the different neighbourhoods of San Telmo, Recoletta and La Boca, ducking into small cafes and restaurants to soak up the distinctive atmosphere here. You will have our top recommendations for activities, restaurants and shopping so that you can make the most of your time here.

Where you could stay
Days 4-5
Two nights to explore Iguazu Falls
During your time in this tropical, sultry region of Argentina you’ll bear witness to one of nature’s most spectacular shows; the thundering Iguazu Falls. There are 275 falls cascading over almost three kilometres of the Parana river, many connected by wooden boardwalks, facing privilege view points and surrounded by lush jungle that’s alive with wildlife. There’s many ways to explore the falls but be sure to experience the walkways from both Argentina and Brazil, with the addition of an exhilarating speed boat ride or a meandering bird watching safari.

Where you could stay
Days 6-8
Three nights exploring the Lake District
Imagine bringing your family to an outdoor adventure playground of glistening lakes, cascading waterfalls, snow capped peaks, rushing rivers and sandy coves. This place exists in Argentina in the picture-postcard Lake District region. This is the perfect place to enjoy the great outdoors with all manner of outdoor activities possible including hiking, mountain biking, fishing, golf, horse riding, kayaking, mountaineering, rafting and skiing.
During your time here we can arrange private tours with expert guides, perfectly suited to your passions and preferences, and reserve you tables at some of the regions best restaurants.

Where you could stay
Days 9-10
Two nights in the glacier region of El Calafate
Spend two nights in the spectacular Glacier region of Argentina, with El Calafate as your luxury base. Travelling this far south, deep into Patagonia has a truly adventurous and exciting feel to it. Here, you’re remote and utterly immersed in nature as the stark, harsh landscapes appear to swallow up tiny cars and the dots of hikers on the craggy undulating slopes. A truly magnificent part of the world which is home to the Perito Glacier, an enormous hunk of crystalline ice and snow that crashes and splinters in deep blue waters.

Where you could stay
Day 11
A final night in Buenos Aires
Return to the capital of Buenos Aires for a final night to enjoy the essence of Argentina; culture, food and music. This thriving city is the perfect place to end your trip where you can take a last walk around the beautiful boulevards, nip into a small cafe and enjoy time with your private guide on a choice of short tours that will fit perfectly with a layover here before departure.

Where you could stay
A night of tango

Head out into the city for an evening of rapturous entertainment in one of Buenos Aires’ most famous tango show venues. The dance of tango has deep-rooted historical significance in Argentina, particularly the port areas, where low income families who gathered from all over the globe to seek employment in the 1800’s, combined Argentine Milonga, Spanish-Cuban Habanera and Uruguayan Candombe to form the distinctive tango dance. Tonight you will watch the show and enjoy a typical Argentine meal.

“Argentina Awesome in Early June”
Jacada Travel did a phenomenal job for my family and me in planning our time in Argentina. Our early June trip included several days in Buenos Aires, the Patagonian Lake District, Southern Patagonia Glacier, and some time at the beautiful La Bamba ranch north of B.A. Just a perfect trip. Time in each location was just right. The weather was…
