Greece is a land of legends, mythological creatures and gods and goddesses. But it is also a country that lives very much in the present, its inhabitants filled with a lust for life who make the very most of this spectacularly beautiful place.

Exploring the country’s ancient roots is a highlight of any luxury Greece tour. Almost every city, town and village has a link to the past and the country’s formidable collection of historic sites span four millennia. Greece found itself under the rule of several empires, all of which have left their mark. The country is a rich tapestry of ancient temples, Venetian forts and Byzantine monasteries with plenty of other wonders stitched in between.
