Luxury Northern Peru Amazon Cruises made for you
Uncover the beauty of the Northern Peruvian Amazon with a private journey designed for you
Cruise the Peruvian Amazon in luxury
The Peruvian Amazon is one of the most biodiverse areas on the planet. Though remote, the northern Amazon Basin is easily accessible from Iquitos in northeastern Peru, your gateway to untamed, primaeval beauty. With plenty to discover, one of the best ways to explore the region’s wonders is by luxury cruise.
Our handpicked vessels invite you on intimate voyages that grant you a front-row seat to a slowly drifting panorama of untouched wilderness. Itineraries take you into the heart of the Peruvian Amazon, where you can kayak through flooded forests and navigate snaking tributaries by skiff alongside giant river otters and pink dolphins.
Onshore, you can embark on remarkable wildlife encounters led by passionate naturalist guides to spot gentle tapirs, green iguanas and playful spider monkeys in their natural habitat. Birdwatching is a real highlight here too. On private excursions search for colourful macaws and vividly hued toucans among emerald canopies.
Beyond wildlife, you can immerse yourself in the culture of remote Amazonian communities through authentic village visits. Learn about their centuries-old traditions and ways of life, deeply intertwined with the rainforest.
After a day’s adventure, spend your downtime across your vessel’s five-star amenities. Then, as the forest stirs with new life beneath the moonlight, gourmet cuisine awaits, infused with the freshest ingredients.

A word from one of our experts
A river cruise in the Peruvian Amazon is a life-changing experience, creating memories that will stay with you for a lifetime. As you sail deep into its creeks and tributaries, you slow down to the rhythms of the rainforest. Every day presents a new symphony, whether it's the guttural squawks of brilliant blue, hyacinth macaws, the cackle of squirrel monkeys or the loud thrum of cicadas.

When to visit
It is possible to travel to the northern stretch of the Amazon all year round, with both the dry and rainy seasons offering something different. During the wet season (November to May), treks are not possible but birdwatching is particularly good as the higher water levels mean you are closer to the treetops. During the dry season (June to October), activities include jungle treks, fishing and visits to the beaches.
