Kicheche Valley Camp

Kicheche Valley Camp is set on the edge 50,000 acre Naboisho Conservancy in a beautiful secluded valley dotted with acacia trees with wonderful views of the game-filled plains to the south. The property is committed to conserving nature and improving the wellbeing of nearby communities.

The classic, intimate bush camp, completely unfenced, has just six large canvas tents sat on wooden platforms. Fully insect-proof, they feature huge beds and en suite bathrooms with flushing toilets and running water.

Meals are usually enjoyed al fresco a clearing overlooking the plains or, in the event of bad weather, in the communal lounge tent, which is also a delightful place to relax between game drives or other activities.

The Naboisho Conservancy encompasses some of the most stunning terrain in the Masai Mara eco-system – woodlands, grassland plains, rocky outcrops and winding rivers – home to giraffe, elephant herds, three resident lion prides as well as three transitory groups, leopard, cheetah, hippo, crocodile, buffalo, eland and a whole host of plains game. Rare species such as aardvark, caracal, serval cat, aardwolf and wild dog are occasionally found and black rhino appear from time to time. With strict controls, vehicle numbers a quality safari experience is assured on game drives and you can also explore on escorted nature walks.
