Ruaha National Park, Tanzania
Jabali Private House
The perfect family escape
An intimate house in Ruaha National Park
Set beneath a rocky kopje, this intimate private house is built around three ancient baobab trees. It’s the ideal escape for families and small groups of friends, with three bedrooms, a lounge and dining area, as well as a private pool, all looking out over the beautiful forests along the Ikuka escarpment.
The house is open from June to mid-March and includes a dedicated team on hand to ensure you’re as comfortable as possible. You’ll have a private chef who will tailor your menus to your tastes and requirements. And everything here is home made, right down to the ice-creams and cakes. When the weather is good, enjoy your meals outside on the deck.
The surrounding Ruaha National Park is one of Tanzania’s largest national parks, with seemingly endless golden plains of sun-bleached grass and iconic baobab trees to discover. There are large prides of lions, cheetahs, leopards and wild dogs to be found here, as well as kudus, sables, elephants, giraffes and some 570 species of birds. Because you’ll have a game drive vehicle to yourself, your guide can structure your safari schedule to suit you. Don’t miss out on incredible night drives and walking safaris.
