A partnership with WarmHeart Environment, a sustainable farming organization, has allowed 137 Pillars to begin composting organic waste and turning materials into biochar (charcoal). This substance is then used to revitalize soil, which increases agricultural productivity and reduces pressure on forests. 137 Pillars also works with Mosquito Lady Consulting to pursue non-toxic, environmentally friendly methods of mosquito control.
