Luxury Krabi Tours made for you
Discover the wonders of Krabi in luxury with inspired, authentic journeys designed just for you
South Andaman coastline crammed with national parks and beaches
Filled with natural wonders in the form of archipelagos of coral fringed islands, impeccable tropical beaches broken up by rich mangrove forests, national parks both out to sea and nestled in its interior, it makes no surprise that Krabi is a popular place for visitors to Thailand‘s southwest Andaman coast.
The world famous Koh Phi Phi National Park and Koh Lanta National Park lie temptingly within Krabi’s waters, and are easily reached from the Phuket side of the Andaman. Khao Phanom Bencha National Park, just twenty minutes from Krabi town, is alive with rushing waterfalls, virgin rainforest, birdlife, caves drawn together by stalactites and stalagmites, and where, if you’re lucky, you may even spot a clouded leopard. Another national park is the Than Bok Khorani Park, facing Phuket and featuring steep hills of evergreen forest, mangroves and caves with pre-historic paintings to prove this area of Thailand had residents some 30,000 years ago.
Another big draw of the area is Krabi’s rocky, mountainous terrain, popular with rock climbers, especially in the Rai Leh peninsula where the rewarding scenes from up-high justify the punishing ascent. Also, with a number of thriving coral reefs surrounding the islands, there are plenty of marine sites for everyone from avid scuba divers to first-time snorkelers.
Krabi Town and its airport have benefitted the area in terms of accessibility, making it a great destination for travellers keen to avoid lengthy boat transfers.

When to visit
The best time to visit Thailand is during the country’s dry season. For most parts of the country, this would be between November and March, extending into April and May for some regions. Thailand is characterised by the rainy, hot and cool seasons. The north is less humid and experiences the greatest range of temperatures with cold nights during the cool season. The temperatures are more consistent in southern Thailand but the Andaman coast is hit hardest during the rainy season (October to December).
