Spicers Tamarind Retreat

Spicers Tamarind is an Asian-inspired retreat nestled in the hinterland of the Sunshine Coast. Just one hour from Brisbane airport and you’ll find yourself surrounded by the serenity of the rainforest with everything you need to truly relax and unwind.

14 one- and two-bedroom villas are dotted across the property, surrounded by lush gardens and tropical rainforest. Villas are decorated in soft tones and feature open wood burning fireplaces; some have outdoor Japanese-style cedar hot tubs while some of the larger villas have balconies with king size daybeds.

The restaurant specialises in modern Asian cuisine, using fresh, local ingredients to create contemporary and innovative dishes. For foodies, there are cooking classes that take place on the weekend. Unwind in the Spa Anise, where there are double treatment cabins, a mineralised spa, steam room and a range of rejuvenating treatments on offer. There is also an outdoor pool, perfect for an invigorating morning swim or an afternoon cool-off.
