The Resurgence

Set in 50 acres (22 hectares) of native bush with lengthy hiking tracks to explore, and on the edge of two stunning national parks – Abel Tasman and Kahurangi – The Resurgence is a luxury eco-lodge that encapsulates the New Zealand wilderness.

There are six self-contained Bush Suites and four boutique rooms in the main lodge building, all of which have incredible views of the forests and mountains that surround the lodge. Carefully constructed as to minimise the impact on the natural environment, this lodge features recycled timbers and low hanging ceilings to reduce heating and cooling needs.

There’s a saltwater swimming pool, spa and gym, with bikes to borrow and a selection of massages are available, allowing you to relax after a day out exploring the neighbouring parks or perhaps following the art, wine and cycling trails around the Nelson region.

Meals here are a real highlight with delicious, local produce from the garden and local area, prepared in the comfort of your chalet. Alternatively, you can enjoy a BBQ on your own deck with a glass of New Zealand wine as the sun goes down.
