Every trip is shaped around you. Below is a sample route to start from; we change any part of it to suit you.
Days 1-3
Welcome to Auckland
It frequents the list for most liveable city year after year and after a bit of time in Auckland it’s not hard to understand why. New Zealand’s largest cosmopolitan centre is a lively mix of culture, cuisine, music and art with ample green spaces and easily accessible beaches. With influences from Asia, the Pacific islands and Europe along with traditional Maori culture, it is a fresh and vibrant city, with some of the best eateries and cafes in the country

Waiheke Island exploration

Fly by private helicopter high above the Waitemata Harbour to Waiheke Island where you’ll be met by your private driver and vehicle for a full day guided tour of the island’s vineyards. We’ll craft an itinerary especially for you, including meeting fascinating people, visiting interesting places and enjoying delicious flavours as you learn about what makes Waiheke wines among some of the best in the world.
Days 4-5
Lakeside Taupo
You’ll find the resort town of Taupo resting on the northeastern shores of Australasia’s largest lake. Actually a volcano crater, the lake’s deep blue waters draw visitors with its idyllic swimming holes, reputable fishing and adventure sports. On a clear day, the views stretch out over the glassy water to the snowcapped volcanoes of Tongariro National Park in the distance. The country’s longest river, the Waikato, also flows out of here, crashing over the nearby and must-see Huka Falls.

Days 6-8
Golden Hawke's Bay
The North Island’s wine country is one of New Zealand’s warmest, driest regions with golden colours stretching across arid plains. The scene here is made up of vineyards and orchards laden with fruit, fertile farmlands that sweep to the perfect waves on the coast and laidback seaside settlements.

Where you could stay
Days 9-10
Creative Christchurch
Known as the garden city of New Zealand, Christchurch invites you to discover historic architecture, art galleries, parks and landscaped gardens, and the Avon River that meanders through its centre. Flanked by impressive mountain ranges on one side and the South Pacific Ocean on the other, there are endless activities awaiting adventure seekers beyond the city centre. Hike, cycle, kayak and ski, or take to the numerous rivers of the Canterbury region for fly-fishing, jet boating and river rafting.

Where you could stay
Days 11-12
Alluring Ahuriri Valley
Find yourself surrounded by the dramatic landscapes of rugged mountain country, wetlands, tussock lands and beech forest. The valley is home to the Ahuriri Conservation Park which extends over 49,000 hectares. One of the highlights of the region is the brightly hued Lake Tekapo, watched over by the humble Church of the Good Shepherd, one of the most photographed buildings in New Zealand. Close by are hot springs and the Mount John Observatory from which you can peer deep into starry nights of the Southern Hemisphere’s largest International Dark Sky Reserve.

Days 13-15
Beautiful Queenstown
Queenstown is one of New Zealand’s most picturesque towns, sitting on the tip of the crystal clear Lake Wakatipu. It’s a bustling hub of international and local visitors come to seek out one of the endless thrills on offer here from skiing, white water rafting, canyon swinging, jet boating, mountain biking and bungy jumping.
