Itinerary in detail

Every trip is shaped around you. Below is a sample route to start from; we change any part of it to suit you.

Days 1-3

Vibrant Split

Although Croatia’s second largest city, Split is often viewed as a jumping off point for adventures to the islands beyond. The peninsula on which it rests might jut out invitingly into the Adriatic, but visit vibrant Split today and it won’t take you long to realise that it’s very much a destination in its own right.

Private guided evening stroll of Split Old Town

Meet your guide for an evening stroll through Split Old Town. The palatial walled summer residence of the Emperor Diocletian, Split became a city after Salona, the Roman capital of Dalmatia, was sacked in 7th century. Refugees were given asylum inside the two-meter-thick walls and over the next 1000 years, the “city” of Split was such a safe haven, it never grew beyond those same walls. As a result, the remarkable ensemble of Roman, Gothic, Romanesque, Renaissance and other architectural remains are all still here.

Days 4-6

Beautiful Brač

Board a private motor yacht and sail to the island of Brač with visits to Hvar Town and Pakleni Islands on the way. The largest of Croatia’s central Dalmatian islands, Brač is also one of the most accessible from the mainland. Its core is a vast landscape of karst rocks covered in scrub, olive groves and vineyards, while the coastline is dotted with hidden coves and pretty beaches. The island has long been known for its milky white stone, a mix of marble and limestone, which formed the building blocks of some of the world’s most famous buildings including the White House, parliament buildings in Budapest and Vienna and Croatia’s very own Diocletian’s Palace in Split. During your time here, we can arrange a private dinner with a winemaker in the charming village of Nerežišća.

Stop at Hvar Town

On the way to Brač you’ll visit Hvar, the lavender island that is also known as the ‘Croatian Madeira’. Sunny days, crystal blue waters, ancient villages, innumerable lavender fields, olive plantations, vineyards, enchanting stone streets and old Venetian palaces are only some of the reasons it’s such a popular place.

Days 7-8

Dreamlike Korčula

Board a motor yacht for your private transfer to Korčula. Enjoy swimming and snorkeling in numerous little bays before your afternoon arrival. Korčula has long been known for her dense and lush pine woods and is one of the greenest islands in the Adriatic sea. Lying just off the Dalmatian coast stretching parallel with the nearby mainland, the island is also one of Croatia’s most populous, its woodlands and vineyards bordered by sleepy hamlets and dreamlike fishing villages. Explore the walled main town, also called Korčula, with its medieval round towers and terracotta-roofed houses, or take a dip in the crystal clear water at any of the pebble beaches scattered around.

Private guided tour of Korčula

A private tour of charming Korčula town, with its 1,000 years of history surrounded by fortification walls and towers, takes you back to the time of Illyric and Greek settlements, the Roman Empire, and the Venetian Republic. Although a very compact town, the steep cobblestone alleys that span off the main pedestrian street in a pattern like a fishbone hold enough art and architecture and unique Korčulan culture to keep you enthralled at each turn.

Days 9-10

Delightful Dubrovnik

Glimmering on the Adriatic coast, enchanting Dubrovnik is Croatia’s most up-market destination. Lauded by George Bernard Shaw as “Paradise on Earth”, the city delights with its Mediterranean-style culture and the marbled streets of its UNESCO World Heritage old town.

Private guided walking tour of the Old Town

Meet your guide for a private walking tour of Dubrovnik. A magnificent city with its incredibly fortified Old Town, Dubrovnik is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and undoubtedly Croatia’s most popular destination. The curtain of towering walls surrounds marble streets and baroque buildings. The main pedestrian street, Stradun, is a wonderful mélange of cafés and shops bookended by a cluster of monuments at either end.

Days 11-12

Serene Boka Bay

Majestic mountain ranges cascade into rugged canyons and emerald green rivers, merging with the serene expanses of Boka Bay. This natural spectacle offers some of the most breathtaking views along the Adriatic. Scattered around the bay, historical remnants quietly endure—the abandoned palaces of Perast, church-topped islets, and the 3rd-century mosaics of Risan. The ancient trading routes winding through the hills and ridges present you with a hiker’s paradise. Indulge in the glamour of the yacht-filled Porto Montenegro, followed by the lively atmosphere of Budva’s beaches. The small, medieval town of Kotor, nestled in the shadow of the mountains, serves as your historical centerpiece.
