A boutique vessel for a relaxing and intimate Fijian cruise

With over 300 islands to explore and turquoise water as far as the eye can see, Fiji is the perfect destination for a luxury cruise. Weave your way through the Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands aboard the Fiji Princess, a small vessel that allows you to discover inlets and bays not accessibly by the larger cruise ships.

The 179-foot Fiji Princess features 32 cabins, accommodating up to 68 passengers. All cabins are above the waterline and feature large windows with ocean views. There is a shaded sky deck with sun loungers, an open-air restaurant, library and splash pool as well as a spa offering a range of rejuvenating treatments.

There are three itineraries to choose from, lasting three, four or seven nights. Cruises depart from Denarau Marina on Fiji’s main island, Viti Levu, but there are also transfer services from some of the Mamanuca Island resorts if you are combining the cruise with a hotel stay.

Dining on the cruise is a real treat with a mix of a la carte, barbecues and buffet. Fresh tropical fruits and seafood are the stars of the show but there is also a delicious range of internations dishes. A real highlight of the cruise is the Fijian lovo feast on a private beach. A lovo is an earth oven and this is a traditional way of preparing food for ceremonies and special occasions. All meals, including morning and afternoon tea, are included in your cruise.

There is so much to discover which is why sailing time is limited to four hours a day. This means there is plenty of time to swim, snorkel, dive or relax on the white powedery sands of Fiji’s beautiful beaches. There are also clear kayaks, glass-bottomed boats and stand up paddleboards for guests to use. For those wanting to learn more about Fijian culture there is the option to visit local communities, learn the art of basket weaving and coconut husking and take part in a traditional kava ceremony where you’ll get to drink Fiji’s national drink, made from the pulverised root of a kava plant.
