Luxury Travel to Marrakesh made for you
Morocco's most atmospheric city
A vibrant atmosphere, rich in culture, cuisine and history
With its rich atmosphere, fascinating history and rich Berber culture, the city of Marrakesh encapsulates what draws people from around the world to Morocco.
Near one thousand year old red walls surround the historic medina, with monumental gates leading through to a warren of winding alleys. It’s here you’ll find Marrakesh’s vibrant souks, markets and artisan workshops selling fragrant spices, leather-ware, jewellery, Berber carpets, spices, fabrics, lamps, pottery and more. The centrepiece is Jemaa el-Fnaa, a bustling market place square that hosts storytellers, musicians and performers in what is an unforgettable nightly spectacle.
Countless riads – traditional and often grand Moroccan houses set around a courtyard – can be found here, many of which are now charming hotels and peaceful havens seemingly a world away from the buzz just outside.
One the other side of the walls is the rest of the city, known as the Gueliz. The lavish El Badi, Bahia and Royal Palaces flank the kasbah, each wonderful examples of Berber design and craft. Also out here are wonderful gardens such as Yves Saint Laurent’s Jardin Majorelle and the sprawling Menara gardens set against the Atlas Mountains. Taking inspiration from these, many of the larger, more modern luxury resorts are located a short distance for the medina.
While getting lost among the jumble of alleys and bazaars may be an essential part of Marrakesh’s charm for many, our expert private guides can be on hand to lead you to the most authentic hidden boutiques, finest craftspeople and exciting new galleries while giving you a local’s perspective of this wonderful city.

A word from one of our experts
Whenever anyone comes back from Marrakesh they always mention two things they loved the most; the people and the food. There’s much more to Marrakesh of course, but it’s the energy of the people and their lifestyle in this buzzing city that’s truly captivating. A wonderful sight-seeing city from lively markets, palaces, bohemian houses, modern quarter, museums and galleries - you can easily spend a few days here.

When to visit
Marrakesh is at is best discovered in spring, from March to May, when days are sunny, fresh and flowers bloom. Autumn – September to November – is also a good time as the summer’s heat has subsided. The height of summer can average over 30°C (86°F), often feeling more than that in the sweltering souks. Winter is pleasant but gets cold at night, when a fireplace in your room is most welcome.
