Three exclusive villas, open plains and wildlife-rich views

Horizon by Ongava is a private lodge set high above the plains of Ongava Private Reserve in Namibia, on the southern edge of Etosha National Park. The lodge has been carefully refined to deepen its focus on space, privacy and highly personalised service.

There are just three thatch-roofed villas. Each has generous indoor space, a private viewing deck, sundowner lounge and its own infinity pool. The main area is also spacious with spectacular views across the reserve. Watch the light shift across the plains, and look out for wildlife such as rhino, elephant, giraffe, lion and antelope moving through the bush.

During your stay, head out on game drives, nature walks, birding excursions or rhino tracking with experienced Ongava guides. You can also visit hides overlooking waterholes, where wildlife often comes to drink, or explore nearby Etosha National Park for a wider safari experience.

Dining at Horizon feels relaxed and intimate. Enjoy seasonal menus served in the restaurant and a curated selection of fine wines to enjoy with your meal.
