The inspiration for the film, Hotel Rwanda, Hôtel des Mille Collines became a sanctuary for more than 700 Tutsis in 1994.
Set in downtown Kigali, the hotel features 112 rooms with views of the city or garden. Three restaurants and two bars will keep you refreshed and the gardens and terrace are the perfect place to enjoy a drink and some time out.
