Chitwa Chitwa is a family-owned lodge perched on the peaceful shores of one of the largest lakes in Sabi Sands, with a strong commitment to conservation and land management. 

They actively support the local community through an educare centre and an adult educational initiative. You’ll also find several environmental programmes in place at the lodge itself, including solar water heating systems and natural thatch grass roofs. 

Set amidst the bush, Chitwa Chitwa offers an intimate safari experience for families and honeymooners alike, home to only a handful of spacious and stylishly decorated suites. They’re each spaced far enough apart to ensure complete privacy. 

You can also stay in the Chitwa House, an exclusive villa featuring a dedicated butler, chef and ranger. There are plenty of nooks for unwinding, including outdoor showers and a panoramic deck with a swimming pool — the perfect spot for admiring honeyed sunsets and wallowing elephants.
