Itinerary in detail
Every trip is shaped around you. Below is a sample route to start from; we change any part of it to suit you.
Days 1-4
Three nights immersed in the wonders of Cape Town
One of the most beautiful cities in the world, Cape Town is a city that can really take your breath away. The horizon is dominated by the iconic Table Mountain, and in the foreground are the crisp waters of the cape, and the laid-back bustle of the city’s waterfront skirted by sandy beaches and picturesque suburbs.
Your visit will take you to the Houses of Parliament, the Castle (South Africa’s oldest building, built 1666–1679), the lively Green Market Square with its daily market, the Bo Kaap neighbourhood (formerly known as the Malay Quarter), the coastal suburbs, and of course, Table Mountain and Cape Peninsula.

Days 5-6
Two nights in South Africa’s Winelands
Just a short drive from Cape Town one enters the Winelands, where many of the original Dutch settlers first made their homes. Pretty towns and villages adorn the countryside, their white washed Dutch colonial buildings contrasting against the lush greens of vineyards, fields and forests.
South Africa’s wine country is home to fantastic wine and some of the country’s best restaurants.

Where you could stay
Full day privately guided tour of the Winelands

Today you have a full day in the Winelands with one of our expert wine guides – your actual tour will depend on your wine tastes. On a typical day we may stop in Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in South Africa, with canals and magnificent examples of Cape Dutch architecture, and, just over the scenic Helshoogte Pass, lovely café-lined Franschhoek, founded by French Huguenots over 350 years ago.
Days 7-10
Four luxury nights on safari in Kruger
A great finale for any trip to South Africa, enjoy your final days on a private reserve in Greater Kruger National Park. Widely regarded as Africa’s premier game reserve, the area is world renowned for its abundance of game (particularly leopards), and is the best place to see all of the ‘Big Five’ in South Africa. Sharing an unfenced boundary with the enormous Kruger Park, its allows for an authentic game–rich experience where animals roam free but in a much more exclusive way – you can even track leopards or wild dogs as they hunt, a thrilling and unique experience.

We are repeat Jacada customers, and with good reason! Our trip to South Africa and Victoria Falls far exceeded expectations. The Jacada Africa team put together an amazing itinerary for us. The logistics were incredibly smooth, and their recommendations for lodging and dining were top notch. The local guides we had in Africa were so memorable. We learned so much…
