Days 1-4
Welcome to the Mother City
Cape Town can really take your breath away. The horizon is dominated by the iconic Table Mountain rising up in the background, whilst in the foreground are the crisp waters of the cape and the laid-back bustle of the city’s waterfront skirted by sandy beaches and picturesque suburbs. It’s the perfect place to begin your journey together. One of the highlights of your stay here will be a fascinating culinary walking tour, discovering some of the flavours that have shapes the city. Our team will find the best honeymoon offers to make your trip around South Africa all the more special.

Where you could stay
Days 5-7
Charming Winelands
Just a short drive from Cape Town one enters the verdant, rolling hills of South Africa’s wine country. Home to fantastic wine and some of Africa’s best restaurants. This is one of the most historic areas of South Africa as it’s where many of the original Dutch settlers first made their homes. Pretty towns and villages adorn the countryside, their white washed Dutch colonial buildings contrasting against the lush greens of vineyards, fields and forests.

Where you could stay
Wine, food and art in the vineyards

Your days in the Winelands will be filled with excellent food and superb wine from some of the best estates in South Africa. There are numerous estates and wineries to visit depending on your tastes, with galleries and contemporary art dotted through rolling vineyards, and world-class restaurants to choose from. There are beautiful gardens to explore, and many farms offer guided tours as well as the option to discover them on your own.
Days 8-10
Safari in Sabi Sands
Widely regarded as Africa’s premier game reserve, Sabi Sands is world renowned for the abundance of game (particularly leopard), and is the best place to see all of the ‘Big Five’ in South Africa. This is one of the best places in Africa to get up close and personal with Africa’s most famous predators. Sabi Sand’s private reserve of over 60,000 hectares shares an unfenced boundary with the enormous Kruger Park, allowing an authentic game-rich experience where animals roam free. Fill your days here with astounding morning and evening game drives, and enjoying your luxury surrounding at camp.
