Itinerary in detail
Every trip is shaped around you. Below is a sample route to start from; we change any part of it to suit you.
Days 1-2
Overnight in Nairobi
Begin your trip with a night in Kenya‘s busy capital, Nairobi. If you have time for a little exploring, the city has a handful of intriguing attractions to discover. Otherwise, simply unwind after your long flight and make sure you’re completely relaxed before heading to Lewa Wildlife Conservancy tomorrow.

Where you could stay
Discover Nairobi with a local guide

Gain a powerful new perspective on city life on this informative walking tour through Nairobi, accompanied by guides who spent some of their childhoods living on the city streets. They will share about how they used to live their lives, their individual journeys to where they are today and how they are now helping future generations to thrive. The tour takes you from the busy city streets to local markets and beyond. It offers you an excellent look at Nairobi’s culture and gives you an honest glimpse into the lives of some of the city’s less fortunate residents. It’s also a great way to directly support local businesses, restaurants and communities.
Nai Nami, which is owned and run by the guides themselves, provides young people with full-time jobs and stable income by building on the skills they learnt while living on the streets and enabling them to tell their stories.
Days 3-5
Three days on safari in the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy
Take in Kenya’s stunning Lewa Wildlife Conservancy and some of Africa’s best rhino safaris. Your time here will be spent enjoying day and night game drives to spot the varying wildlife, horse riding, camel trekking, bush walks as well as archaeological site excursions and lectures on the history of conservancy, which this catchment is known for.

Day 6
Three days to discover the Mara Conservancies
The Mara Conservancies surrounding the Masai Mara National Reserve offer visitors the ultimate safari: the lowest tourist densities, incredible day and night game viewing, walking safaris and authentic cultural interactions. But above all, these Conservancies are managed according to a model that protects the delicate eco-system and benefits the landowners themselves – the Maasai people.
