Days 6-7

Exploring the Laikipia Plateau

Enjoy the romance of the Laikipia Plateau, taking in the landscapes, sunsets and perhaps enjoying a star-bed sleep out. These high plains, northeast of the Great Rift Valley and shadowed by Mount Kenya, are home to big cats, elephants and endangered rhinos. You can explore on both game drives and walking safaris, if you wish.

On morning and afternoon game drives you’ll find exceptional wildlife viewing, as well as activities like bush walks and night drives that are unavailable in the national park.
