Mountain Lodge Suspended in the Clouds, Overlooking Mount Bromo

At 2,000 metres above sea level Jiwa Jawa is often set in cloud. Built in a wooden chalet style this is a modest yet charming retreat which blends into its landscape amidst the Pobolinggo mountains of eastern Java seamlessly.

With just nine cabins, this is the perfect accommodation for those that love the outdoors and wish to explore the number of small local villages, go mountain biking, horse riding, and tour the nearby volcanoes. There is also one further, larger cabin to suit families.

Jiwa Jawa has a small café offering delicious coffee from the nearby plantations as well as Indonesia and European food. The café is set within a small gallery space showcasing photography from across the region and diners occasionally entertained by a local light jazz band.
