Itinerary in detail

Every trip is shaped around you. Below is a sample route to start from; we change any part of it to suit you.

Days 1-2

Arriving in the Barossa Valley

There’s no better place to begin than in one of the most celebrated wine-producing regions, Barossa Valley. Situated northeast of Adelaide, this area is home to a selection of world-class wineries, with Shiraz grapes being the local wine farms’ forte.

You’ll set off into the beautiful wine-producing countryside on an exclusive tour that visits some of the country’s most celebrated vineyards. You’ll enjoy private tastings, vineyard tours and masterclasses at selected wine farms, a lunch and matched wines, and a VIP experience at 150-year-old Henschke Wines.

Days 3-4

Exploring the wild landscapes of the Flinders Ranges

Heading into the wilderness of Arkaba Conservancy, you’ll explore the Flinders Ranges, the largest mountain range in South Australia. Spread across ancient landscapes, this wildlife haven seeks to conserve Australia’s endemic flora and fauna, including kangaroos and emus.

As the light changes through the day, you’ll be treated to the stunning colours of the outback. There’s no better way to soak up the views than from a remote ridge top, enjoying the sun dipping down as you sip on a glass of bubbles with a wild bush canape platter to complement it.

The McLaren Vale wine region is located just south of Adelaide on the beautiful and geographically diverse Fleurieu Peninsula. It is close to the south coast with its wonderful beaches and crystal clear waters and is bounded by the sea on one side and hills to the south. The region is home to over 70 different wineries from some of South Australia’s internationally renowned producers, such as Wirra Wirra and d’Arenberg,. Your expert guide will help you explore.

Days 7-9

Back to nature on Kangaroo Island

Kangaroo Island, Australia’s third largest island, is the final destination of your trip. The nature reserves here teem with native wildlife, such as koalas, wallabies, possums, sea lions, and a fur seal colony at Cape du Couedic.

Your time will be spent exploring Flinders Chase National Park, Lathami Conservation Park, Seal Bay Conservation Park, and different corners of the island by car and on foot, stopping at viewpoints and for picnics of fresh produce, paired with fine Australian wines.
