Itinerary in detail

Every trip is shaped around you. Below is a sample route to start from; we change any part of it to suit you.

Days 1-2

A first night in Johannesburg

Your luxury adventure begins with a night in Johannesburg, where a wonderfully opulent stay at a fabulous hotel and a meal in one of the city’s best restaurants await. On arrival at Johannesburg airport you’ll also be met airside by a Jacada representative, before being fast-tracked through immigration and assisted with baggage collection.

Days 3-5

Three unforgettable days on safari in Sabi Sands

Widely regarded as Africa’s premier game reserve, Sabi Sands is world-renowned for its abundance of game – particularly leopards – and is the best place to see all of the ‘Big Five’ in South Africa. The landscape is Savanna Bushveld, the iconic safari landscape of scrub, small trees and grassland, punctuated by the Sabi and Sand Rivers. You can even track leopards or wild dogs as they hunt: a thrilling and unique experience.

Days 6-8

Exploring the legendary Kruger

During three days on safari in the Kruger, you’ll watch elephants from your private plunge pool and treat yourself to spa sessions between expertly guided game drives.

Founded in 1898 by President Paul Kruger, this National Park remains one of the oldest and largest wildlife reserves in the world. But it’s not just the Kruger’s size or age that sets it apart. The ground-breaking conservation philosophy here has led the way for other wildlife sanctuaries beyonf Africa. There’s little wonder why. The Kruger’s sixteen different habitats are home to 517 species of bird, and more varieties of mammals, including the Big Five, than any other reserve.

All of the lodges we recommend are in exclusive, private concession areas or private reserves bordering the park.

Beach time in the Bazaruto Archipelago

A flight to Mozambique followed by a quick helicopter trip takes you to Benguerra Island, the second largest island in the idyllic Bazaruto Archipelago. Over the next five nights in this Indian Ocean paradise, you’ll watch the waves roll in from your villa, go snorkelling, dine on freshly caught fish and sail on traditional dhows as the sun sets – barefoot luxury at its most laid back.
