Thanks to its location, the town enjoys over 300 days of sunshine a year and is popular with walkers for most of the year. Art lovers and history enthusiasts can visit the Segantini Museum, which is dedicated to the painter Giovanni Segantini who spent the last years of his life here in the Engadine Valley.

Or make the most of the spectacular vistas by descending from Diavolezza to the Morteratsch Glacier. Those looking to rejuvenate in the clear, bracing air can spend time at Heilbad St Moritz, making the most of the mineral springs that were discovered some 3,000 years ago.
