Greece, Italy, Spain, France and Croatia share a glorious coastline. The summer weather—hot and dry, where sparkling waters beckon—stretches from spring into autumn (May to October). Slip between islands on luxurious yachts, sip refreshing cocktails on sunset cruises, or dip beneath the surface to discover an incredible underwater world on a snorkeling excursion.
In France, you can explore glamorous towns on the French Riviera and Côte d’Azur. Take a walking tour of Nice to see the Roman ruins in the Cimiez district, and wander the old seaside town of Antibes, stopping at designer boutiques and the Picasso Museum at the Château Grimaldi.
Continue your journey in the Spanish Mediterranean. Around Malaga and Costa del Sol, coastal cliffs and long stretches of sandy beaches invite sailing, fishing and hiking. Savour a caviar tasting at a sturgeon farm, then travel north to Valencia to sample the region’s famed paella.
